About the Book

The IJP Special Issue The Neuropsychology of Consciousness contains the revised, up-dated contributions to the Presidential Symposium on this topic convened in 1996 at the XXVI International Congress of Psychology in Montreal, Canada. Contributors are internationally renowned specialists in the experimental study of neuropsychological and neurobiological correlates of human conscious experience. In an interdisciplinary approach, this special issue brings together contributions from experimental neuropsychology, neurophysiology and general neurobiology. Beyond the scientific communities of psychologists and philosophers, the publication addresses itself also to neurologists and psychiatrists, neurophysiologists, neurobiologists, as well as other branches of the neurosciences.
